May Special Winery of the Month: Aitken’s Folly Vineyard, Wanaka
We’re celebrating a very special winery made in Wanaka, Aitken’s Folly Vineyard. This family-run vineyard is on three hectares of tranquil land which was dreamed up after Ian Percy and Fiona Aitken moved here from the UK in 2008.
This local winery produces chardonnay and pinot noir varieties, known for their bold flavours and aromas.
Gin Tasting with Southward Distilling and Co.
On Wednesday the 26th of May at 7 pm, Pembroke is hosting a Gin Tasting with Wellington-based Southward Distilling and Co. We will be tasting 4 gins and some cocktails. Come and meet the owner and distiller visiting Wanaka and Pembroke Wines to bring you a unique experience, Frankie McPhail. Tickets are $50 each with nibbles included. These tickets are on sale 5th of May so don’t miss out!
