September at Pembroke Wines & Spirits

Spring into September

Can you feel it? Spring is in the air, and we couldn't be more pleased to see daffodils popping up and lighter mornings!

We'd like to say a huge to everyone who attended one of our special 'Free Friday' events this August. We were lucky to have some amazing guests, including Bernie from Rifters Distillery, Dan from Pyramid Valley, Sandy from Hazledine Brothers Wine, and Lucie from O Naturel Wines. It was wonderful to share their passions and learn about their craft!

Don't forget - Father's Day is on Sunday! And if you've left it to the last minute, no worries. We have the perfect gift for every dad in-store at Pembroke.

Read on to find out more, and to hear about a very special event coming your way later this month!

New spirits on the shelF

We're welcoming some great new gins this spring. First off, we're very pleased to introduce Third Island Gin from Rakiura Distilling on Stewart Island - made with Rakiura rain and Rakiura botanicals!

This is a traditional dry gin with the spice of rainforest botanicals, hints of fresh citrus peel, and cassia bark. Locally foraged manuka, rimu, and horopito dance with juniper and coriander seed in a shower of the freshest rainwater on the planet. This delightful product of New Zealand’s southernmost distillery celebrates the culture, histories and pristine environment of Stewart Island.

Why not come and have a try?

Picnic in the Park is back

Our gourmet grazing boxes are available to takeaway, whether you're headed off on an adventure or relaxing by the lake. Order from our platter menu, and the team will make it up fresh for you while you wait – or call ahead and collect.

"We used Pembroke Wines & Spirits to cater our wedding in February 2023. They were fantastic and suggesting suitable varieties of wine to match what we wanted. The supplies were delivered on time and picked up the following day at the time agreed. Thank you Nadia and Troy for making our big day go so smoothly." We would love to hear your feedback and would appreciate a review on Google to help more people discover Pembroke in Wānaka. Please take a couple of minutes to leave us a review here!
