Spring brings us October and all of the delights that come with it. This is always an exciting month at Pembroke Wines & Spirits Wanaka; in support of the Breast Cancer Awareness month we have the annual 'Pink Me Up' rosé tasting, and it's time for a comparison whisky tasting...
Whisky Tasting
On Thursday the 15th of October from 7-9pm, we welcome Kenny Vaugh from Cardrona Distillery to host a unique tasting event 'Wood & Whisky - Barrels & Aging'.
Bringing together single malt whiskies from Glen Moray and Cardrona Distillery, we will explore the effects that a range of wood casks have on the flavour profile of the whisky.
Comparing whiskies finished in casks of Bourbon, Cabernet Sauvignon, Port, Pinot Noir & Sherry we will enjoy 6 whiskies (3 from each Distillery). In one extremely social evening, you can learn how to taste the difference. Tickets are $60 and include nibbles.

Did you know that Cardrona just launched a special edition pink Gin?! We are in LOVE with it. Pop in to get your bottle before it runs out!
Pink Me Up Rose Tasting
Tickets are also on sale for our 'Pink Me Up Rosé Tasting' on Thursday the 29th of October from 7-9pm. Grab your friends, add something pink to your outfit and let's explore an extensive selection of rosé both from our local vineyards and various places around the world. Summer is on its way, and what better way to enjoy the view from your garden than with a glass of chilled rosé.
Tickets are $50 & include nibbles.
Pink Cocktails
We have a special range of Pink Cocktails on offer this month and will be donating $1 per cocktail to the Breast Cancer Society... If you get thirsty, you know where to find us.
We are keeping it short and sweet this month but please also don't forget to drop your (bottle)tops at PWSW. We are a wine cap collection point for the Rotary Club on behalf of the Kidney Kids...
