Things will be a little less pink at Pembroke this October, as we won't be holding our annual rosé tasting event - but of course, we'll still be sporting our pink ribbons in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Stay tuned for a special rosé and bubbles event in November (date coming soon). Also coming up next month is our Waiheke Whisky event, postponed from September. More details below!
We'll be taking a little spring holiday ourselves this month. The shop will be closed on the 8th, 15th, 16th and 22nd of October, but otherwise open as usual (including Labour Day) in the capable hands of Leslie, Nicky, John and Kristy.
Finally, after five great years we've decided to put Pembroke Wines & Spirits up for sale. We're so grateful for the wonderful experiences we've had and the amazing people we've met, but now it's time to make a change - to travel, spend time with family overseas and hang out with our kids. We'll keep you posted - and if you know of anyone looking for a unique business with unique licenses in the heart of beautiful Wānaka, check out the listing.

Whisky Tasting with Waiheke Whisky
September 26th 7-9pm $85 per ticket
We are VERY excited to host the first Waiheke Island Distillery event in Wānaka! Over 10 years, using just 3 ingredients, Waiheke Whisky has produced award winning whisky on Waiheke Island. Please join us and be amongst the first in town to taste amazing whiskey, paired with a great selection of gourmet platters and cheeses.

Library Wines
Sometimes, great wines need time. We have a selection of new library wines in-store, exclusive vintages held back by wineries to be re-released years later. We're pleased to offer Te Mata Estate's Coleraine 2009 - 2011 vintages, as well as have Penfolds Wines' RWT 2009 - 2011 and a great selection of vintage ports. Come and take a look!
Pembroke Sangria
We're welcoming spring with the return of Pembroke's famous homemade sangria - perfect to enjoy in-store or as a takeaway. It pairs oh so well with our yummy sardines, so why not order a platter from our takeaway menu and have yourself a Pembroke Picnic in the Park?
