Somehow, in hoping for the best but preparing for the worst, we were near certain that we were all heading up a level, so...


We are thrilled with being able to continue at level 2 for the time being and look forward to welcoming our friends back from Auckland soon.

What we ask of you, as our friends & supporters is that you have patience through us as we navigate our business through the levels and stay respectful of the space of others when visiting Pembroke Wines & Spirits Wanaka.

Please don't forget that whether you are in self isolation OR, have friends coming round and you don't have time to pop to the shop, we deliver all year round and our latest order form is always on the top right corner of our website!

After honing his wine making skills all over Central Otago, James McElrea launched his own label Black Peaks, quickly establishing himself as a beloved producer. Embracing the dark fruit and savoury character with the body and silky tannins that made Central Otago world famous. We are ecstatic to be offering a full range of magnums for every vintage that they have ever made, from rare 2014s to the exclusive unreleased 2018s and 19s- all hand signed. We also offer the 1 of a kind Jeroboam (5Lt bottle) handmade from over $50 worth of glass alone.

Although you may need your wheelbarrow to deliver it, it certainly is a gift that keeps giving!

Tickets are now on sale for our next gathering; 'Keep your Gin Up' on Thursday the 27th of August from 7-9pm. Our local gin expert- Juleon Green of Proof and Co will be opening your palate to 5 Gins from around the world;

Once you have sampled the 5 labels, our expert will demonstrate one cocktail featuring each gin. You will get to select 2 of the 5 cocktails to savour.

PWSW Pick of the week

We have so many boutique wines & spirits that we would really like to sing about so... We have decided to start the PWSW 'Pick of the week' that will be announced every Wednesday both on our facebook page and in the boutique bottle store. The selected bottle will then be available by the glass exclusively for the following 7 days!

Quartz Reef Method Traditionelle Brut

This winery is a perfect representation of both the traditional and pioneering spirit in New Zealand wines. Being one of the first wineries to explore the now famous Bendigo sub region of Central Otago, they have combined bio dynamic practices with the time proven Methode Traditional wine making used in Champagne to create a wine that embraces what it means to be fine New Zealand sparkling. Crisp and refreshing apple blossom, lemon zest and stone fruits balance with the brioche and toasty characters of champagne into a long finish. Exactly what you deserve any day of the week. Most recently reviewed at 94 points by Bob Campbell MW, The Real Review (May 2020), we are not the only ones to rate it!
